English Newsom Cellars is very pleased to partner with Heart & Soul and Pecan Ridge, to present an exclusive Harvest Moon Dinner at the winery.
At English Newsom Cellars, we know that good food and good wine go hand in hand. Heart & Soul Cuisine will prepare a theoretical 4-course meal to provide a myriad of pairing options for you to think about.
Remember the best way to learn about wine is to drink it. If you haven’t been to a wine dinner lately you are missing out on a lot of fun.
English Newsom Cellars will be celebrating all growers across the great state of Texas. The Harvest Moon Festival is our opportunity to celebrate everything Lubbock from cotton to grapes to country music to Texas Tech football.
Local favorites Junior Vasquez and Kenny Maines will be playing music on the patio. Other activities such as an Old Fashioned Grape Stomp, Wine and Food Pairing Stations, Texas Tech football watch party, wine tours and much, much more will be part of the Harvest Moon Festival. 3-8pm.
Things start to get a little spooky in October. Whether it's the onset of cold weather, the endless stream of horror movies, or just early observance of Halloween traditions, there is more talk about hauntings during the month of October than any other time of the year.
But, here's the catch: Hauntings (if you believe in that sort of thing) are not restricted to 31 days on a calendar. Case in point: HAUNTED WINERIES. Throw in a bottle of wine and human kinds penchant for exaggerated storytelling, and you are just asking for a spirit sighting (and we are not talking about the drinkable kind of spirit.)
The Open House is our opportunity to celebrate this joyous season and feature our new releases with you. Wine always makes the Holidays jolly.
Local favorites, Junior Vasquez and Kenny Maines, will be playing Christmas music that will get you in the spirit from 2-6:30.
Other activities such as ornament painting, wine tours and hand crafted wines will be poured from our wine maker and owners, shopping with local vendors plus much, much more will be part of the Holiday Open House from 1-8pm.
