Picardan is pale straw in color and has aromas of green apple, pear and lemongrass. It is one of the rarest varietals in the world and was at risk of going extinct, until recently when Steve Newsom became one of the largest growers of Picardan in the world. In France, this varietal was used as a blending grape but, Texas grape grower, Steve Newsom, saw its potential and took a risk in 2017. He planted 4 acres of Picardan. He felt the Texas High Plains had the perfect climate to grow this varietal. It turns out he was correct. Our customers love this light bodied varietal that has flavors of apricot, peach and nectarine. International and national judges agree that Picardan is special and we have the medals to prove how good it is.

Muscat is one of the most widely planted grapes in the world. Dry Muscat is a brightly acidic and aromatic wine that is medium lemon in color. Its medium bodied texture carries these flavors into a long finish filled with mandarin, white peach and jasmine. This dry varietal is versatile enough to mask the heat of spicier dishes but also a nice compliment to salads, sushi and fresh fruit.

Dried fruit, black pepper and anise round out the fruit flavors for a complex and short finish. This wine pairs well with cured meats, spaghetti carbonara,
